MEMBERSHIP



What are your membership requirements?

You must be 18 years or older with a valid government-issued state or military photo I.D., and be a resident of the area in which you wish to join.

What is the membership term?

Memberships are for one full year from the date you activate your membership, unless otherwise stated.

How many tickets are included with a membership?

We offer two membership options. A two-ticket membership gives you up to two tickets to any show you reserve. A four-ticket membership gives you up to four tickets to any show you reserve. You do not have to use all of your tickets for every reservation. You can choose the number of tickets you would like to use when you make your reservation.

Can I purchase more than one membership?

No. Only one membership is allowed per household.

I am single. Can I purchase a one-ticket membership?

No. We do not offer a one-ticket membership, but you can reserve only one ticket to any of the events we offer.

Can I use a SeatJunky membership in multiple cities; for example, when traveling or on vacation?

No. Your membership is only valid in the area in which you live.

SHOWS



Can you tell me what shows you get tickets for?

No. Only members can see the shows we have available. We have agreements with the venues that we will not share their name or ticket information with the general public. If we did, it would hurt ticket sales. We can say that we offer an average of 250 events per year in each SeatJunky area, including theater, concerts, sporting events, comedy shows and festivals.

How do I know what shows are available?

Once you are a member, you must log in to our website often to view available shows and make reservations.

When do you add new shows?

We add new shows at all times of the day, any day of the week.

How much notice is given before the date of the show?

It varies. Sometimes shows are added a week before, sometimes only a day or two before.

Can I invite a guest to a show?

Of course. A guest can use one of your tickets, and it can be a different guest each time.

How many shows can I see on the same day?

Members are limited to one show per day. This gives as many members as possible the opportunity to see a show.

Is there a limit to the number of shows I can see during my membership term?

No.

Can I see the same show more than once?

It depends on the show. The venue may choose to set a limit on the number of times a member can see the same show.

Do you have slower and busier times?

Yes. We offer seats when a venue has seats to fill, and the number of shows we have to offer will vary depending on our venue partners' needs. Some days there may be 20 shows to choose from, other days only 1 or 2. But we have relationships with over 1200 venues, so there is always something new on the way.

RESERVATIONS



How do I get my show tickets?

You will receive a confirmation email after you have made your reservation with ticket pickup instructions. You can also find these instructions on your My Account page. You will need to show your photo I.D. to pick up your tickets.

Can someone else pick up my tickets for me?

No. The member is the only person who can pick up the tickets. No exceptions.

Can I give away or sell my tickets?

No. This is cause for immediate cancellation of your membership without refund.

How do I change or cancel my reservation?

Once you make a reservation you are required to attend the show, with the number of people you reserved tickets to attend. In emergency situations, you may email us for any changes. Please note emails received within 24 hours of the show time will NOT be addressed.

What if I make a reservation and don't show up to pick up my tickets?

We have a very strict no-show policy. Our policy is two strikes and you forfeit your membership without refund. We reserve the right to cancel your membership immediately without a refund.

Who do I contact if I have questions about a reservation?

How do I reset my password?

Click here to request a new password.

How do I update my account information (ex: name, address, email, phone number)?

Please email sandiego@seatjunky.com with any changes to your account information.

Can I add more tickets to my membership?

Yes, if you have a two-ticket membership, you can upgrade to a four-ticket membership. Just log in to your account and choose the Upgrade option.

When does my membership expire?

Please log in to your account and go to your My Account page to find your membership expiration date.

Can I add my spouse's name to my account so either of us can pick up tickets we reserve?

Yes, if you and your spouse share the same last name. Email us at sandiego@seatjunky.com to request your spouse be added to your account.

How do I renew my membership?

Log in to your account, go to your My Account page and click on Renew.

Can I renew my existing membership using a discount voucher from Groupon, Living Social, etc.?

No. Discount vouchers are only valid for new members. As a renewing member, you automatically receive a discount when you renew. Log in to your account and choose Renew for details.

How do I cancel my membership?

Your membership will be canceled automatically on your membership expiration date. We do not auto-renew memberships or keep credit card information on file.

How does SeatJunky work?

When a venue has seats to fill, they come to SeatJunky with free tickets for our members. We feature the venue's show in our “members only” reservation system. Members can choose which tickets they would like to reserve, and attend the show for free.

Why would a venue give away tickets for free?

No one likes to see empty seats – not the performers, the management, or the audience. SeatJunky members literally fill the seats, improving the overall experience for everyone.

Who will enjoy a SeatJunky membership?

Anyone who likes live entertainment, is open to trying new things, and wants to support shows and events will enjoy a SeatJunky membership. If you want to get out a few times a week or a few times a month, and are interested in seeing a variety of live entertainment, SeatJunky is perfect for you.
